Anita Quansah individually hand embellishes each piece free hand using reclaimed and vintage fabrics to add texture in a similar way that painters add colour by painting onto a canvas. She uses a variety of techniques to achieve the end result including fabric manipulation, appliqué, hand and machine embroidery to create undulating raised floral textures that seem to float on the fabric.
