EISENTRIGER, Frederick. Private, No. 2303, 41st Battalion- Pte. Eisentriger was born at Mrytle Creek, Maryborough, and educated at Gunalda, North Coast Line. He is the son of Frederick Eisentriger and the late Amelia Eisentriger, of Tooley Street, Maryborough.
BACK, Herbert Stanley. Private, No.406, 15th Battalion. Son of Frederick & Teresa Ann Back, of Granville, Maryborough. Enlisted in September, 1914. Trained in Brisbane, and sailed for Egypt in December, 1914. He completed his training in Egpyt, and went to Gallipoli. Was at the landing of 25th April, 1915. He was wounded on the 9th May, 1915, and sent to hospital. He subsequently returned to Gallipoli in July,1915, and was killed on the 8th August, 1915. (NLA)
COSTELLO, Mortimer. Private, No. 1313, 1st Battalion. Private Costello was born in Maryborough; was educated at the Christian Brothers’ School, Maryborough. He is the son of Mary Costello and Thomas Costello, Shanid,” Queen Street, Maryborough.
BRADSHAW, William Edward. No. 5989. 15th Battalion. Born at Maryborough, and educated at Christian Brothers’ School, Maryborough. He is the son of Henry Thompson Bradshaw and Frances Margaret Bradshaw, of Ferry St., Maryborough.
CUNNINGHAM, Colin Edgar. Signaller, No. 4392, 25th Battalion. Was born at Tiaro on the 20th May, 1896. Signaller Cunningham is the son of Stewart Crumby Cunningham and Mary Ellen Cunningham, of Queen Street, Maryborough. Enlisted with his brother Wilfred, on the 23rd September, 1915.
SCHAFER, Otto Hermann, M.M. Corporal, No. 1513, 26th Battalion. Born and educated at Maryborough. The son of the late Hermann Fredrich Albert Schafer and Anna Conradine Pauline Schafer, of Wilson Street, Maryborough.
