Foot Guards - are infantry regiments of the Household Division, recognisable by the bearskin worn on their heads. They are responsible for the military security of the sovereign. These are the Coldstream Guards Corps. of Drums from the Massed Bands of the Foot Guards, marching back to Buckingham Palace after 'Trooping the Colour'.
G. KELLY pie and mash shop front ca. 1940 - George Kelly opened the shop in 1937. By the mid 1950’s the shop had been bought by George’s brother in-law, Bill Kingdon. Bill’s daughter, Sue, owns the shop today.
