Donald's Organic Texas Garden: PUBLIC GARDENS

Add caption Sherman Library Gardens Corona del Mar, California Another place I got to visit while in Califo.

Copper Canyon Daisy (Tagetes lemmonii) for an aromatic summer green that explodes into autumn gold. This fall blooming shrub daisy (up to 4 feet tall) has aromatic foliage which keep the deer away. But count butterflies and other beneficial insects as fans of this tough perennial. Extremely drought tolerant.

Once Copper Canyon daisy takes hold in the garden, it requires little water and no fertilizer. The main flowering period, however, is in late fall.
