The French Window, by AB Concept | Hong Kong - This comes close to resembling my idea for the entrance area for SUStAIN. A half wall (approx. 1m high) with a thin steel frame interior window above separating entrance and restaurant. Some panes of clear glass to offer glimpses of diners, others patterned glass to obscure view. I think the patterned glass would then catch the light and give a lovely intimate sparkle as diners enter/ exit, especially as it is next to a large factory window.
Love this Restaurants style in Hong Kong, Dynasty Restaurant. Check out the height of that ceiling, it has allowed them to do a lot of cool stuff, like the centralised lighting and individual eating areas, makes for more of a private dining effect.
