July 12, 2013: Swimming students hang mermaid tails to dry after a lesson at the Philippines Mermaid Swimming Academy in Manila on June 15. Normeth Preglo & American swimming instructor Djuna Rocha started the academy in 2012. Classes allow students to become mermaids for a day, pose for photos, learn to swim better & get grueling workouts.

Philippine Street Food. I've had most of these items, and some of them I enjoyed. Tried the balut; tolerable, but something I would not want to eat again. The rest I would never want to try.
