Pat Hatch:* 19th C. early patchwork doll quilt blue calico back with nice early calico fabrics. It is hand sewn and has the best solid blue calico back. It has a number of weak squares that are shredding and half missing, so the quilt is as is but is so good looking hanging or folded in a stack it is hard to resist. Circa 1870-80

This quilt was saved by my aunt, Agnes Weaver Eigsti, (1910-2010) who thought that Anna, her grandmother, might have helped make it.
