Dinner tonight was venison steak seared for 30 seconds each side with garlic, pepper, Himalayan salt and grass-fed butter followed by 20 minutes in the oven at 300 for 20 minutes. It was topped with sautéed red, yellow, orange bell pepper, and onion in the same spices and served with a side of steamed asparagus.
Breakfast Trick: Start your morning with a moderate protein & fat-rich meal like scrambled eggs and you will be more satisfied (satisfies your dopamine brain receptors) throughout the day making it easy to avoid sugars and starches. Dopamine levels also impact your energy, attention, and alertness. When we eat breakfast out we order 2-3 whole eggs w/ veggies and avocado and black coffee or green tea.
