Hoover is a happy, social cat and would love a second chance after being surrendered by her previous family. This sweetheart loves kids and also gets along great with other cats. Her experience with dogs has been limited, so a slow introduction would be required. All in all, this girl is the cats meow and we are certain she will be the perfect companion for someone. Magnolia has been our care since February, and feels it's high time her forever family came along. Super playful, affectionate Magnolia often acts younger than her age of one year; she will play all day long, then cuddle up for some love and snuggles. One of Magnolia's favorite things to do is hide in her tube, then when someone walks by, she will run out and gently tap their foot. Doesn't she sound like a dream boat? When Link came into our care, she was very shy and needed a little time to adjust. After some reassurance and love, she has become a very affectionate and sweet girl. Now she is in search for a quiet guardian who knows how to find that sweet spot under her chin. If you are interested in this lovely lady, get in touch with the BC SPCA Vernon & District Branch.
Angel first came to the hospital in August when she was found with a broken pelvis. After returning to her owner, she was let out of the house and returned home pregnant. She was unable to deliver her kittens due to the pelvic injury and nearly died. Emergency surgery saved her life and this sweet girl is now available for adoption at the Burnaby branch. Angel’s story is an important reminder to spay and neuter your cats!
