Life was so different back then..wish it was still ...

This is so true! Who can remember those good ol' days? I miss those days. Let me know what you remember most about your childhood days

My mother and I (a girl) were out at about 11 PM in Paris one night on holiday, and she grabbed my hand every time we passed a group of men bc she was scared for the safety of herself and her child. This was an extreme case, when we were in an unfamiliar country and city, but even in the city that she and I both grew up in, I notice her tense and turn from the shortcuts onto the main roads for fear of our safety. She's taught me so that I make sure if I am out late it's in a big group of…

Haworth in the West Yorkshire moors. I spent one of the best times of my life here, walking up on the moors with my love. <3

Haworth in the West Yorkshire moors. I grew up 5 mins from here and got my first job at The Apothecary Tea Rooms at the top of Main Street!

This large farmhouse dining set has a substantial table which can easily seat up to 8 people. We have included 6 'large' fiddleback chairs including 2 carvers (larger than standard size) and painted them in a mix of Annie Sloan Country Grey and Old White, producing a warm creamy stone colour. The set has been lightly distressed to give a rustic country cottage feel

Large dining tables with turned legs and a solid wood tabletop are a key piece of furniture in creating the farmhouse feel in a large open-plan kitchen.

Cow Parsley is in season in #April and is great to gather from hedgerows and place next to your fireplace to give it a summery feel

WILD FLOWERS I have always loved Queen Anne's Lace. When I was little my grandmother would pick some and add food coloring to the water so the flower heads took on the color of the water. Special memories for me.

What?! I don't like tea but I live in Britain and seriously everyone has a kettle!

Is this true, America? WTF is wrong with you? We put a friggin tea kettle on our wedding registry years ago and we still have that tea kettle and we still use it regularly! It has a permanent hone atop our stove.

Set on a steep hill leading down to the River Windrush, Burford has a fine collection of topsy turvy cottages, ancient stone townhouses and a host of tea rooms and antique shops. Burford gets pretty busy but its picture postcard streets are well worth it and if you wander off down the laneways you'll be transported back in time. There's an excellent garden centre on the outskirts and the lovely Cotswold Wildlife Park just down the road.
