I appreciate the look of the Mexican tiles in varying shapes, sizes, and colors as well as the beautiful decorative inlay which creates a tile "area rug" for the dining table. The subtle groin vault in the ceiling is accented by delicate stenciling and I like the arched windows and doors. Lots of light but the space still projects the "sturdiness" of Mexican influenced spaces.
Traditional Meets Contemporary From the terra-cotta tile flooring to the tall arched French doors, this living room is a contemporary twist on traditional Spanish design. The warm accent colors look crisp against the white walls and sofa. The living room's color scheme is carried through to the adjacent traditional Spanish-style courtyard. Design by Carole Meyer
