Quayside, Newcastle upon Tyne. Predates the building of the Millennium Bridge, plus the Tuxedo Princess is still moored under the Tyne Bridge.

Newcastle upon Tyne in the north-east of England. Granted, not a great deal of skyscrapers here – none, to be precise – but there are loads of bridges. The one just being completed there in 1928 is the Tyne Bridge. That’s a good 9 years before the Golden Gate Bridge, incidentally.

I like how this has a wintery feel to it, they grey effect makes it look like its going to snow again and how the lights on the tyne bridge draw you into the photo
