Tippi is no ordinary child. She believes that she has the gift of talking to animals and that they are like brothers to her. 'I speak to them with my mind, or through my eyes, my heart or my soul, and I see that they understand and answer me.
Born in Africa to French wildlife photographer parents, Tippi Degré had a most unusual childhood. The young girl grew up in the African desert & developed an uncommon bond with many untamed animals including a 28yo African elephant named Abu, a leopard nicknamed J, lion cubs, giraffes, an Ostrich, a mongoose, crocodiles, a baby zebra, a cheetah, giant bullfrogs, and even a snake. Africa was her home for many years & Tippi became friends with the ferocious animals and tribespeople of Namibia.

Tippi born in Namibia, where her parents, Alain Degré and Sylvie Robert, worked as freelance wildlife photographers. she befriended wild animals, including a 28-year old elephant, a leopard, crocodiles, lion cubs, giraffes, a Northern Greater Galago, a Banded Mongoose, an Ostrich, meerkats, a baby zebra, a cheetah, a Caracal, a snake, an African Grey Parrot, giant bullfrogs and chameleons.She also befriended the Bushmen and the Himba tribespeople

Tippi spent her whole childhood playing with wild animals including lion cubs, a mongoose, a snake, a cheetah, baby zebra, giraffes and crocodiles. Her Parents said: “It was magical to be able to be free in this nature with this child. She was a very lucky little girl – she was born and raised until the age of 10 totally in the wild.”
