Morris K. Jessup. He played a key role in the "Philadelphia Experiment" when in 1955, he received a letter by someone called "Carlos Miguel Allende." In the letter, Allende wrote that he witnessed the disappearance and reappearance of the USS Eldridge. In 1957, Morris was called to Washington D.C by the Office of Naval Research and they asked him how much he knew about the USS Eldridge. In 1959, Morris was found dead in his car. Ruled as suicide by the police, his death remains a mystery.
