The career of music industry mogul Sean “P. Diddy” Combs leap-frogged with his production of Mary J. Blige’s What the 411 and later My Life for Uptown Records. Combs eventually headed up a new label Bad Boy Records signing Christopher “Biggie Smalls” Wallace. At Bad Boy Combs successfully produced, wrote, recorded, and rapped, while running the label.
