~~Star birth in the extreme ~ Hubble's view of the Carina Nebula shows star birth in a new level of detail. The fantasy-like landscape of the nebula is sculpted by the action of outflowing winds and scorching ultraviolet radiation from the monster stars that inhabit this inferno. "We used to do this in my old college days in Fresno, California... It was the late '80s/early '90s. We lived in an all-girl boarding-style house on Wishon Street and used to crawl out our windows at night to the top of the house and play guitar, sing, and shout down to our friends on the street.
