Raleigh bicycle posters – As Raleigh Cycle is sold to Dutch rival Accell for £62m, historian Carlton Reid - author of free e-book roadswerenotbuiltforcars.com - takes a look at posters produced by the British institution over the years. He says Raleigh's strapline - "the all steel bicycle" - was introduced in the 1890s and used for decades.
