Traumatize people lose faith that good things can happen and people can be kind and trustworthy. They feel hopeless, often believing that the future will be as bad as the past, or that they will not live long enough to experience a good future.
Watch your thoughts; they become words. Watch your words; they become actions.
This can also apply to just normal lives, fighting the addictions of the past or fighting the addictions of the future by coping with anxiety. We all have an internal struggle, be proud that you survived another day and hopefully it was a bit better then before.- Brad
