WW1. Captain Charles Mosse, 120th Rajputana Infantry, Waziristan. Pictured here in 1920. Following the outbreak of the war, Mosse was sent to Mesopotamia. He took part in the capture of Basra ( Nov 1914) and the Battle of Shaiba ( April 1915) during which he was wounded. On recovering, he took part in the capture of both Nasiriyeh ( 24 July 1915) and Kut-al Amara ( 28 Sept 1915) where he was again wounded. Titanic survivor's apron....Laura Mabel Francatelli was the personal maid and secretary to the famous couturier 'Lucillle', or Lady Lucy Duff Gordon, the wife of wealthy landowner Sir Cosmo Duff-Gordon. When the disaster struck Miss Francatelli and her employers were among the 12 survivors placed in Emergency Lifeboat 1, notoriously dubbed the 'millionaires boat' by the press.

Titanic Flare Gun Conspiracy: Clearly, the Five Shot, 33 Pinfire Derringer Revolver here does NOT fit this case. What happened to the Titanic’s flare gun contained therein? It was most probably destroyed as part of White Star Line’s cover-up of the failures leading to the disaster. Someone kept the box for decades. Did they keep the flare gun?
