Iciegarth, Sanday, Orkney - Fragment of single-sided composite bone comb, about half of the bar preserved. Bar formed of two bone strips, the teeth (all broken off short) sawn in separate bone plates and all fastened together with bronze rivets. The sawing off the teeth was done after the plates had been rivetted in place. LIA type, probably belonging to post-broch horizon. Hunterian Museum Archaeology collections: GLAHM B.1914.792
