The Mawddach Trail follows the Mawddach estuary along the disused railway from Dolgellau to Morfa Mawddach and on to  Barmouth. It is 9 miles long and offers a traffic free, flat ride with beautiful views so it is an ideal route for kids. It can be shortened by starting at Penmaenpool by the George III Hotel.  5.7 to bridge.
