Char Koay Kak - Is a popular Penang hawker food. It is rice cakes fried in thick black soy sauce, with eggs, bean sprouts and chye por (preserved vegetable bits). The bean sprouts and chye por adds crunchiness to the rice cakes. Chilli paste gives it spiciness. Some times seafood such as prawns and squid rings are added.
