Downtown Mobridge, South Dakota Mobridge was founded at a crossing on the Missouri River, hence the name that came from a Missouri (or MO) River Bridge. It is located about halfway along the river between Bismarck, North Dakota and Pierre. It is home to roughly 3,500 people.

Brown County Courthouse, Aberdeen, SD The Brown County Courthouse in Aberdeen, South Dakota, is a Renaissance Revival Style building that was constructed in 1904. The three story building is made of cut Berea sandstone. Two giant Corinthian columns of Ortonville granite decorate the front entrance, which is topped with a pediment. Atop the building is a dome.
