But what captivated Dobrowner about this storm was something more primal and figurative. "It was like watching a monster in the dark," he remembers. "We weren't able to see it until a series of lightning bolts rained down. Then it was like watching a dragon in the night sky."

Brown County Courthouse, Aberdeen, SD The Brown County Courthouse in Aberdeen, South Dakota, is a Renaissance Revival Style building that was constructed in 1904. The three story building is made of cut Berea sandstone. Two giant Corinthian columns of Ortonville granite decorate the front entrance, which is topped with a pediment. Atop the building is a dome.
