A Cavansite Crystal Specimen from India. This piece measures 39 x 35 x 16mm approx at widest points and comes in an open plastic specimen tray. Canvasite is a rare silicate only discovered in 1973. Its name is taken from its composite elements: ca for calcium, van for vadnium and si for for silicon. Indian cavansite forms groups of needle shaped crystals or spheroidal aggregates with a very intense blue colour growing on a white crystal background. £2.60 shipping.
500gm Plain Flour 50gm Milk Powder 35gm Baking Powder 50gm Butter 220ml Buttermilk 70ml Milk 30gm Sugar Beaten egg 1. Mix all the dry ingredients together; rub in the Butter 2. Mix in the milks until a soft dough is formed (use your hands, so as not to over tighten the dough!) 3. Roll into a cylinder shape about 3 inches across; cut into pieces approx 60gm each 4.
