Charles VII, the Victorious (1403 - 1461). King of France from 1422 to 1461. He married Marie of Anjou and had six children. He had to fight to English to reclaim his throne, and his was finally crowned king in 1429. He was aided by Joan of Arc, and he owed her most of his success. When the English capture her he did nothing to save her, even when they tried her for witchcraft and burned her.
