Balloons, water, freezing temperatures, and a tea light candle.  Takes about 4 hrs. Don't let water freeze solid.  Pour out water, add candle. Gorgeous on a deck, going up the outside stairs, line your driveway or sidewalk. A couple of drops of food coloring in the balloon before adding water and you have a different look.

Ice Balloon Lanterns: Fill balloons with water then freeze. When they're about frozen, snip the top of the balloon and peel away. Drain any excess water. It's important that one side of the balloon remains unfrozen/open, so you can place a candle inside.
