CSS Eastport,Confederate States Navy, 7 Feb 1862. Eastport, a partially completed ironclad, was captured from the Confederates on 7 Feb 1862 at Cerro Gordo, Tennessee, by the Union gunboats Conestoga, Tyler and Lexington. She was used by the Union Navy as a convoy and patrol vessel on Confederate waterways.

She was captured incomplete at Cerro Gordo, Tennessee as she awaited fitting out for guns. She was taken into USN service as USS Eastport, and served on the Misssissippi.
