Sentinel Dome, as you approach it from the trail. Sentinel Dome is fairly easy but highly rewarding trail in Yosemite. Just a little over 1 mile from the parking lot on Glacier Point Road, you will get a 360 panorama of the Valley and surrounding peaks. A must do for any visitor to Yosemite

The 5-mile-long Mirror Lake Loop Trail opened late October 2012. Located on the east end of the valley, the trail follows Tenaya Creek around Mirror Lake. It was closed back in March 2009 due to a large rockfall from Ahwiyah Point near Half Dome. Here is a photo of the new renovation.
In late spring or early summer, the Glacier Point road is plowed and open to visitors. The Glacier Point overlook give you a panorama view of the Yosemite Valley below. In this photo, the focal point is the Ahwahnee hotel as seen from 1/2 a mile above the valley floor. With your eyes you can see the whole panorama view - Truly Awesome!
Staircase Falls is a series of waterfalls located on Gossamer Creek in Yosemite National Park, California. The falls descend a total of 1,300 feet (400 m) into Yosemite Valley over a series of steps. Staircase Falls is relatively ephemeral and only flows after rainfall. It is usually dry by May. The falls are located immediately behind Camp Curry on cliffs below Glacier Point.
