Because of the massive and destructive bombardments during WW II Rotterdam had to be built up from scratch after the war. city travels by benny_b_streetphotography from http://500px.com/photo/203882069 - started my rotterdam trip parking my car and taking the watertaxi (you have got to try it out when you visit!) to get faster to the other part of town perfect start of day and through that beautiful light we saw it all fall in to place for the remainder of the day.
