It's boxing night, so Ree Drummond's running her sons to town for practice. She bakes them fruity Granola Chocolate Chip Cookies and prepares a knockout dinner of champions for when they get home: Italian Sloppy Joes with delicious Garlic Toast. Then, she also drops off a fabulous Lemon Meringue Pie with her father-in-law.
Monster Cookies. Susan's changes: I use the Pampered Chef medium-sized scoop to make the size we had. When you do that, bake ONLY for 13-15 mins until golden around the edges and what looks like underdone a bit in the middle. They'll firm up as they cool. Her baking time of 20-25 mins must be for giant-sized cookies (like using the large scoop). Also, yesterday I added 1/2 cup heath chips. You can also use peanut butter chips or anything else you like in this recipe.
