Old Appalachian Mountain farmhouse ~ I know this sounds farfetched, but I'm absolutely certain that I have hiked past this very modest, but beautiful home. The area surrounding it is gorgeous and very peacefully serene, remote, quiet.
Noah Ogle built this cabin and farmed 400 acres in the 1800's. When Great Smoky Mountains National Park was formed later, the cabin was preserved intact. There is a small millhouse on the site as well. I have more details/photos on my blog
