Going to do exactly this when my back heals. You never want to workout more in your life than the times you physically can't. I can't imagine this being a permanent thing.

Starting a new running routine tomorrow! Waking up early and doing a walk/jog on the treadmill, and my #3sfitness home workout. And then instead of my lunch time walk, I am going to do a lunchtime run down the river! There is this awesome trail that runs along the river and is 5mins from my office.
