Born in Butcher Hollow, Kentucky to a coal miner father, Lynn married at 13 years old, was a mother soon after. She along with Lynn Anderson, Tammy Wynette, Dotty West, Barbara Mandrell, Dolly Pardon and Emmylou Harris were my early C idols.
