Lee Marvin (February 19, 1924 – August 29, 1987) was an American film actor.Known for his gravelly voice, white hair and 6' 2" stature, Marvin played supporting roles, as villains, soldiers and other hardboiled characters. He won an Academy Award for Best Actor for his dual roles in Cat Ballou (1965). He was a heavy smoker from an early age. He and his then wife Pamela moved to Tucson Arizona in 1975 where he later died of a heart attack on August 29, 1987.
