"...when trials and challenges come our way, we are often told to simply 'hang in there.' Let me be clear: to 'hang in there' is not a principle of the gospel. Enduring to the end means constantly coming unto Christ and being perfected in Him." Stay by the Tree - By Elder Kevin W. Pearson
We Are All Enlisted - Jeffrey R. Holland "Satan, or Lucifer, or the father of lies—call him what you will—is real, the very personification of evil. His motives are in every case malicious, and he convulses at the appearance of redeeming light, at the very thought of truth. Number two, he is eternally opposed to the love of God, the Atonement of Jesus Christ, and the work of peace and salvation. He will fight against these whenever and wherever he can."
Elder Haynie teaches that we must be clean to return to live with our Heavenly Father, and that the only way to become clean is through the Atonement of Jesus Christ. The plan of salvation included a Savior who could help us become clean through faith in Him and repentance of our sins.
Mothers Who Know - Julie B. Beck (Oct 2007) Children are being born into a world where they “wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places” (Ephesians 6:12).1 However, mothers need not fear. When mothers know who they are and who God is and have made covenants with Him, they will have great power and influence for good on their children.
When you want to be inspired, you read the scriptures. But what happens when you want to get that twitterpated feeling that comes only from reading something ridiculously romantic? Guess what. The scriptures can help you there too.
