As part of both ServeNebraska Week and Global Youth Service Day, over 50 student volunteers from St. Mary's Elementary School in Ord, NE added landscaping outside Gorak Hall and cleaned a walking trail around the city's Auble's Pond.

Volunteers helped to ensure the Kloefkorn Science and Engineering Night was fun and educational for young students.

Volunteers with the Dodge County 4-H spent time at nine different nonprofit organizations in Fremont, NE.  A couple of the activities performed include interacting with dogs at the Humane Society, gardening at the Habitat for Humanity Store, and reading for children at the Keene Memorial Library, to name a few.  Afterwards, volunteers were rewarded with pizza for all their hard work.

Members of the Fantastic 4 4-H Club hosted a May Day Celebration at the People's City Mission in Lincoln, NE.  The celebration was for elementary school age girls.  The kids celebrated with traditional dances, group activities, arts and crafts, healthy snacks, and a May Day basket.

Dedicated volunteer Kim Albracht helped with the Friendship Home's Stuff the Bus drive in Lincoln, NE.  She handed out needs lists to customers at Walmart, took in donations, sold raffle tickets, and shared information about the Friendship Home.
