Also the Holy Qur’an states: “Do not associate aught with Allah; most surely polytheism is a grievous inequity.” (Surah Luqmān 31:13). “And whoever associates anything with Allah, he devises indeed a great sin.” (Surah an-Nisā’ 4:48)
Qur'an al-Baqarah (The Cow) 2:257: Allah is the Wali (Protector or Guardian) of those who believe. He brings them out from darkness into light. But as for those who disbelieve, their Auliya (supporters and helpers) are Taghut [false deities and false leaders, etc.], they bring them out from light into darkness. Those are the dwellers of the Fire, and they will abide therein forever.
Qur'an al-Maidah (The Table Spread) 5:23: Two men of those who feared (Allah and) on whom Allah had bestowed His Grace [they were Yusha' (Joshua) and Kalab (Caleb)] said: "Assault them through the gate, for when you are in, victory will be yours, and put your trust in Allah if you are believers indeed."
