This pin reminds me of how mental health issues develop. We start with a clean slate and then every negative experience (and trauma) piles up, one on top of the other over the years, and then there is hardly anything left of the real us, and our personalities get just as jumbled up (what we call disordered in psychology) because of the level of disorganization (chaos) in our lives. Speak up, protect yourself, seek help, and take time to heal today!!!
It’s Transformation Tuesday and we’re going to address why you adamantly, like a stubborn jackass who is settling in for an epic battle of wills, refuse to ask for help working through your personal issues.
No person has the right to condemn you on how you repair your heart or how long you choose to grieve, because no one knows how much you're hurting. Recovering takes time, and everyone heals at his or her own pace. *BE WELL.
Recovery is not just about recovering from addiction, its about recovering from any Mental Health Experience. Recovery is hard, a mountain to climb, but in the end it is worth it. Embrace the change - Embrace Recovery
25 reasons women make emotional decisions Emotional and verbal abuse is no joke. The scars are brutal. But healing begins to come with time and A LOT of hard work and prayer. One breath, one step at a time. Keep moving forward.
That's easier said than done sometimes. I have an insane amount of chatter going on. "I'm not good enough", "I don't deserve .*insert whatever*", "I'm an Asshole" omg soul DON'T make me do healing for the third time today!
