Snow day! Paula Dean's crockpot potato soup recipe. Combine 1 bag frozen hash browns, 2 (14oz) cans chicken broth, 1 can cream of chicken soup, 1/2c chopped onion, 1/3tsp black pepper. Cook in crock pot on low for 5hours. Stir in 8oz block of cream cheese, cook 30 minutes, stir occasionally. (this sounds amazing!!) I just made and it was quite good. Five hours was too long in my crockpot, however. Got too mushy. Will cook less next time. But definitely a keeper recipe.
Crock Pot Ham. Cover the bottom of the crock pot with brown sugar. Place ham on top of the brown sugar and add pineapple tidbits with the juice. Sprinkle ham with more brown sugar. Cover and cook on low for 7-8 hours..
