Kumbh Mela is a mass Hindu pilgrimage of faith in which Hindus gather to bathe in a sacred river. It is considered to be the largest peaceful gathering in the world where around 100 million people were expected to visit during the Maha Kumbh Mela
Hinduism - In up to 70 million pilgrims are estimated to have attended the 42 days of religious pilgrimage intertwined with Maha Kumbh Mela, in Prayag, in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. Over 100 million at 2013 Maha Kumbh Mela, Allahabad, India.
In London-based photographer David Graham traveled to Haridwar, India to photograph the Kumbh Mela festival, the largest gathering on the planet for a religious purpose. There he captured portraits of Sadhus, the wandering holy men of India.
