Thompson Twins, Into the Gap****: That was quite enjoyable. In fact, I've quite enjoyed listening to the entirety of their catalog so far, but this one is so far the best of the lot. It's got "Doctor Doctor" and "Hold Me Now" as the big hit singles (and they are deserving of being hits), and it's got some pretty awesome deep track alike "No Peace for the Wicked" and "Who Can Stop the Rain." All in all, an excellent example of 80s pop and a peek of the alt-pop yet to come. 2/20/17
