Caribbean 2002 I purchased this doll on one of the Islands "St. Lucia" as I thought it was interesting as I have never seen a doll like this. This is one side of the doll and then you turn it over and there is another completely different dress and face. Very clever!

Beirut Coat I purchased this coat in a beautiful boutique just up the road from my Hotel, I was so busy talking to the owner of the boutique regarding all the beautiful pieces in the shop, I forgot to ask her how this work was done, the work is done by using small pieces of metal by the looks of it each piece is clamped down with another piece of metal, if anyone has any idea how this work was executed please could you let me know

I purchased this Syrian dress while in Syria 2011 it took the lady who made the dress 12 months and she cross stitched in silk thread. The work is stunning. I have the dress permanently on display in my sewing room. I often wonder what became of her and the family. I was fortunate enough to fly out to safety when the war started
