ANNE OF CLEVES (1515-1557), Queen of England, fourth wife of Henry VIII, King of England, daughter of John, Duke of Cleves, and Mary, was born on the 22nd of September 1515. Her father was the leader of the German Protestants, and the princess, after the death of Jane Seymour, was regarded by Cromwell as a suitable wife for Henry VIII.

Death mask of anne boleyn - makes me wonder if they did this before or after her beheading???? Going to do some more research to see if this is real:)

Mary Tudor, Henry VIII's younger sister, is not to be confused with Mary Tudor, Henry's daughter, who is known as Bloody Mary. Henry's sister was first married to Louis XII of France, much against her will. She was 19 at the time; Louis was 52. He only lived for 3 months after the wedding -- Mary then secretly married Charles Brandon, the Earl of Suffolk -- a close friend of Henry VIII's.
