THE LAURA SECORD HOMESTEAD located in Queenston Ontario is a National Historic Sight. It was in this home, during the war of 1812 that Laura Secord overheard the American Invaders planning an attack on the Loyalist British forces. Laura trecked over 14 kilometers to meet the British forces and warn them of the impending attack. This Homestead of this Canadian hero is open to the public during the summer months for tours.
