Pałac w Kopicach historią swą sięga XIV wieku, kiedy to był rycerską siedzibą rodu von Borsnitz. Dwukrotnie przzebudowywany - w 1783 r. przez rodzinę von Sierstorpff, w stylu klasycystycznym i w roku 1864 przez  Hansa Ulryka von Schaffgotscha i Joannę Gryczik von Schomberg-Godulla, w stylu neogotyku.
