Britain's best waterfalls

Scale Force, Cumbria The highest waterfall in the Lake District, Scale Beck lies south of Crummock Water, close to the village of Buttermere. Wordsworth described it as "a fine chasm, with a lofty, though but slender, fall of water." It can be reached from the Buttermere National Trust car park,

Scafell Pike, highest mountain in England at 978 metres (3,209 ft). It is located in Lake District National Park, in Cumbria.
