Acadian Village, Lafayette, Louisiana. This is a historical site, nothing touched and I believe nothing reconstructed. Every year at Christmas they do a beautiful light display throughout the entire village and you walk through, buy food & drinks, dance to Cajun music, eat old fashioned popcorn,...really neat. Greenville Hall was built in 1882 in Italiante style. It was the Administration building for St. Mary's Dominican College, a Catholic school for girls. In 1910, St. Mary's became the first Catholic college for women in the state of Louisiana. Now a part of Loyola University. 7214 St. Charles Ave.
