The pin on Dee's jacket was a badge of honor that each worker was given. Many traded pins with other workers from around the country some from as far away as Canada who had come in to help New York during the disaster. It depicts the Twin Towers and the American flag inscribed "The Salvation Army, NYC 9-11-01."
painted on the garage doors of the Rescue 5 firehouse in Concord, features a waving flag, one with 11 stars visible, and silhouettes of the Twin Towers. Most importantly, though, painted along the bottom of the doors are 11 pairs of empty boots.
Declaring the distances to such places as Boston, San Francisco, and Toledo, this sign post graced the set of M*A*S*H during the show's run. Set in Korea during the 1950s, the show revolved around the work and antics of the staff of a Mobile Army Surgical Hospital (MASH). Its final episode on February 28, 1983, was the most–watched television program of all time.
