This is just a basic summer salad for 100 degree weather in sunny SoCal ~ usually I mix my greens yet today, just a bunch of Romaine (yes, the whole bunch); shredded cabbage, carrots and beets; chopped tomatoes and cukes. There are some sliced carrots as well and whole grapes. I squeezed 1/2 Meyer lemon on it and sprinkled chili powder. Delicious and refreshing!

This looked so good I began eating before taking the pic! It's a very simple, basic salad with red leaf lettuce, tomatoes, cukes, strawberries, shredded purple cabbage, grapes and sliced little bells. Some salt-free garlic herb seasonings and, good-to-go!!!
I made this twice. First time, as you see it; second, atop chopped Romaine lettuce and w/added sunflower seeds. Bananas, strawberries, grapes, pomegranate seeds, shredded coconut and lemon juice. This was my second meal of the day so far ~ Water-sauteed mushrooms (w/curry and turmeric), steamed kale (2 kinds) and Cruciferous Crunch (from Trader Joe's) topped with shredded cabbage, carrots, beets; pinto beans, sunflower seeds, green and black grapes.
