Galaxies impresionnantes

Who knew there were so many different types of galaxies. There could be as many as 100 to 200 billion galaxies in the observable universe. Here are some of the most fascinating.

...for no one would ever love her as much as He did. He watched over her and gave her everything she dreamed of. There was nothing He wouldn't do for her. He gave her the stars in the sky and all the planets too.

looking towards the center of our galaxy, the Milky way. Our place is on one of the outer arms of our galaxy so that is why it looks so dense and that you can see the outer arms. Its amazing to see where we really are in space.

How to take photos of the Milky Way - I've been taking lots of night photos recently so I decided to write a blog post on how to best capture the glorious milky way in the sky.

This was taken after an amazing weekend in Tekapo, New Zealand. The small town is a dark sky reserve so as you look up, the views are some of the clearest you will ever see of the universe around us. Photo taken by Niall McKenna. ~Through the Lens~

The Whirlpool Galaxy

The Whirlpool Galaxy, the red spiral, and its companion galaxy, NG 5195 are 23 million light-years from Earth. The warm dust in red is a sign of active star formation probably triggered by a collision between the two galaxies.

Lightning in space: A single bolt of lightning is 50 percent longer than the entire Milky Way galaxy.Scientists have observed lightning on Mars and Saturn but didn't know that lightning could occur in the middle of space, with a force equal to a trillion lightning bolts, or to use the proper scientific terms, 50 million tons of electricity. This insane electrical current was discovered near galaxy 3C303 firing a massive jet of electrified matter 150,000 light-years into outer space.

That electrical current was discovered near galaxy It's not doing anything that cool . it's just firing a massive jet of electrified matter light-years into outer space. RTh 6 Most Mind-Blowing Things Ever Discovered in Space Cracked.
